Maeve is a working actor and teacher specializing in the formal Meisner Technique training program, Introduction to Meisner, and private audition coaching. She trained under Jim and completed the full two-year program in 2017, and now teaches both the introductory and formal training there.

Her mission is to continue Jim and Sanford Meisner’s legacy with integrity and heart and to help actors discover their most authentic selves and bring truthful, emotionally alive work to stage and screen.

Maeve began her acting journey in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, studying musical theater and drama at the Creative and Performing Arts High School before attending Duquesne University, where she performed with the historic Red Masquers Theater Troupe. Her theater credits over the years include Annelle in Steel Magnolias, Low Dive Jenny in The Threepenny Opera, Madame X in The Stronger, and Madge in Picnic. After finishing the training, she went on to work extensively independent film industry throughout California. Her film credits include DonnaFlowersThe AgentSeed Spirit, and the upcoming There Is a Crack in Everything and The New Knight, with these projects featured and awarded at multiple international film festivals. 

Alongside her acting career, Maeve has mentored dozens of actors nationwide through her teaching at The Meisner Technique Studio, youth masterclasses in the Bay Area, private coaching, and work with the Maui Meisner Studio in Maui, Hawaii. She is also a founding member of the Encounters Film Collective in San Francisco.
